We are the Kalm family and this is Be Kalm Doodles! Our home is nestled on six acres for our pups to roam, explore, and enjoy all four seasons that Minnesota has to offer. Our adult dogs have an incredible life on our property exploring their environment. 

We began our program in 2022 with our Standard Phantom Tri-Color male Poodle, Beau. Beau has produced 33+ tri-colored and sweet tempered Bernedoodles for other breeding programs. We are extremely happy with those results.  

We then added our beloved female Bernese Mountain Dog, Agnes Gene (Aggie), to our family. She has helped us to begin our incredible journey into female dog breeding and given us a true adoration and respect for the Bernese Mountain Dog breed. Bernese Mountain Dogs, the gentle giants that they are, are characteristically affectionate, patient, Kalm (see what I did there), intelligent, and stubborn. These traits shine and will make you love them more each day.

At Be Kalm Doodles, we believe that dogs have been placed on this earth by our Heavenly Father for therapy and happiness. Christ is the example of unconditional love for us and our dogs remind us of that love.

Our goal is to provide your family with a companion that is not only healthy, but also has a fantastic temperament. Because we mainly work out of our home, we are present with our pups almost all of the time. We raise our puppies for the first 8 weeks of their lives. Our puppies are introduced to a curriculum based on the works of Dr. Carmen Battaglia and Dr. Gayle Watkins by providing ENS/ESI (Early Neurological Stimulation/Early Scent Introduction) handling exercises that include specific sounds and smells at appropriate ages. This curriculum has been proven to provide families with a very successful outcome and is backed by the American Kennel Club.
