Our Dam and Stud for Berenese Mountain Dog pups are both AKC certified. Our Stud Poodle is Embark Tested and cleared as well as OFA certified.

Our Dam is in fantastic shape even prior to each pregnancy. Frequent exercise, optimal nutrition and veterinary care is of upmost importance to Be Kalm Doodles. As our Dam approaches her due date, she is positively introduced to our whelping area, and monitored very closely. Our Dam received daily massages on her belly, and grooming in preparation for delivery.

The puppies that are born in the Be Kalm Doodle Breeding program will be introduced to both ENI (Early Scent Introduction) and ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) beginning at just 3 days old and is continued until Day 16.

ENS screening introduces puppies to mild stresses in a controlled way, stimulates the neurological system, improves puppies cardiovascular and immune system, and improves stress responses later in life.

ENI introduction promotes cognitive growth, confidence, and adaptability.

At 3 weeks Be Kalm Doodles will begin a more higher level curriculum with our pups that was developed by Jeanette Forrey at 4E Kennels. This includes a “10 Step Puppy Massage” daily with an increase in pressure each day. This approach is performed to improve your pup’s ability to handle different types of touch, handling and sensation (clipping nails, gently tugging on ears, collar handling, and more).

Beginning At 3 weeks our pups are learning socialization. This includes being exposed to many different types of sights, sounds and textures. Be Kalm Doodles believes in providing your family with a well rounded puppy that will be successful in any environment. In doing so, we will provide daily opportunities for our pups to be challenged both physically and mentally. This will continue throughout each pup’s time at Be Kalm Doodles.

At 7 weeks our pup’s temperaments will be evaluated. This evaluation helps us understand which puppy is the best fit for each individual family’s needs as well as the needs of each individual pup. For example, the information gained from each evaluation will be able to articulate to families results regarding energy levels and confidence. Be Kalm Doodles will work directly with each family by providing them with the results of each evaluation to have the perfect puppy placed with each family.
